Beatriz Alonso Carvajales was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1984. She was interested in art early on and attended drawing courses and workshops. After obtaining her High School diploma specializing in Art, she studied at the Complutense University of Madrid for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, graduating in 2007. She worked as a graphic designer, as a freelance and for several companies, and also as a teacher, teaching both traditional and digital painting techniques.
In 2013, she studied for a Master’s Degree in Art and Visual Digital Design for Video Games at U-Tad, in Madrid, Spain. This experience gave her a chance to work in that field for the next few years, developing graphics for mobile and web video games.
At the end of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, she moved to Westchester, New York. There is where she currently resides and where she begins to develop her pictorial artwork after struggling with infertility. With her first series (It) Leaves holes, she aims to start a new chapter in her artistic career.
