Sometimes, especially when we face complicated tasks, it is as if the obstacles and problems are insurmountable. In the form of barriers, they are positioned around and overwhelm us, blocking us into a sensitive position. We feel vulnerable, minimized by circumstances, as if gigantic walls surrounded us and only let in a faint crack of light.
Facing fertility problems is often feeling overwhelmed by impediments: physical, emotional, and even logistical. When you have pain of any kind, everything becomes more and more difficult, and you feel that any small obstacle can make you stumble and fall. And it makes you feel isolated, distant from others.
Overcoming the experience is not easy. But it is important to remember that, between the walls, that ray of sunlight can still pass through, reminding us that there are more things behind.
