The leaf breaks when it dries, especially in the more pressured parts. The tears spread over the surface as if they were veins in negative.
The eggs also break; with relative easiness, one might say. After all, it is their purpose to break away, their reason for existing. The broken parts, however, are not always separated and lost but can sometimes be transformed to become part of something else.
Being broken does not imply being unable to create new forms, even with old ones.
