The comparison helps to create contrast, to show growth or evolution. There is hope there in growing, learning, and opening up. In getting away from that point where everything feels rigid and compressed, without a solution. There is worth in getting away from that point of self-absorption, opening up to the world instead of concentrating on one’s own pain and misery.
But sometimes, you must also realize that if you change the perspective, the effect is precisely the opposite, and you see regression or involution. That is where crises are born again, the pain of memories, the shame of going back.
The crisis is there, but we must remember that on our journey, we will have ups and downs, which is natural. And that even in pain and isolation, we can always find the seed of the opportunity for change.
